Yava Motorcycle History
In early 1946, a new Yawa 250 motorcycle was sensationed at an international exhibition in Paris, where it conquered a gold medal.
A single-cylindrical two-stroke engine (249 cm3, 9 l.c.) in a block with a four-stage gearbox having a knife-shield gearshift was installed in a rectangular tube equipped with a candle rear suspension and a telescope front fork.
Java 350 Perak (1948)
Since 1948, a two-track two-track Yava 350 (34 cm3, 12 l.c) has been parallel to the series. The walking part of both models was identical, but the latter was produced at the former Autfit plant, which built Ogar motorcycles before the war, and entered Yawa in 1948. The bike was sold first. Ogar-350, then received the name Yava Perak 12 (Jawa Perac 12). The post-war first-born. Java Perak 11and then issued before 1953. The 350-kilometre in model 18 was built until 1955.
Yava Perac-500
Remembering pre-war traditions, a four-stroke motorcycle of 500 cm3 was started in the enterprise. The vehicle ' s foothold was based on the knots of the already developed Perac family, and the engine was a two-cylindrical aggregation (488 cm3, 26 l.c.) with a distributional in the head of the cylinders. From 1952, the car went to the series, and from time to time it was upgraded to 1958.
Java 250-353 and 350-354
In the fall of 1953, new motorcycles with the backbone, model 353 (250 cm3) and model 354 (350 cm3). The walking part of these machines has become a family-wide model that was built in conjunction with the CZet plant.
Chef
The same chassis was mounted with engines of the CZet (125, 150 and 175 cm3) and Jawa (250 and 350 cm3). An important innovation was the combined cyxtarter pedal and gear shifts.
Java 250, 350 (1962)
In October 1962, the enterprise re-engineered its main classes 250 and 350 cm3. The main external distinction is the new shape of the top of the headlamp - now it's closed the whole wheel. Both engines now stood at 14 and 18 litres respectively. The new machines received the names " 250-559 " and " 350-354/06 " . The latter, after small improvements in 1965, changed the index to " 360 " .
Java Pioner
In addition to secondary motorcycles, the Jawa factory paid much attention to small-scale transport with 50-kubby-motor engines. This class includes a Yava Pioneer motorcycle (Jawa Pioner) with a three-stage gearbox and a " toroler " between the seat and the steering column, as well as numerous mopeds with a typical horizontal cylinder.
